Dreghorn Preschool is a charity run nursery based in the Dreghorn, South West Edinburgh.
We operate on a not-for-profit basis, allowing us to provide an excellent level of childcare at affordable prices, for both the civilian and military communities.

Having moved him from a local private nursery due to our concerns over lack of continuity we couldn’t have been more delighted with Dreghorn.
He has absolutely thrived here under the care of a small and consistent team of wonderfully warm and dedicated practitioners who I feel treat him as one of their own. He swiftly made close friendships and has continued to flourish.
The nursery is wonderfully equipped, with a fantastic garden and has a very imaginative and creative feel with so much effort put into their activities. It is welcoming, inclusive, and we have seen it transformed in the last 6 months under diligent new management, resulting in staff that clearly feel happy and supported doing what they love and continually thriving children. I couldn’t imagine a more nurturing, engaging and safe environment for my 3-year-old”
